- Represent harness team in system and subsystem trade studies
- Design harnesses, including schematics, wiring, and routing definitions
- Define, maintain, and automate interface documentation (Pin maps, schematics, ICDs)
- Perform equipment interface verification and discrepancy troubleshooting
- Document build instructions for harness manufacturing
- Plan and support satellite harness manufacture and integration activities
- Support mechanical design, layout, integration, and as-built validation
- Continuous development of best practices and harness processes
- 3+ years of experience in harness design
- Experience in the space industry is a must
- Interest in designing and building electromechanical systems
- Proficiency with Altium and 3D CAD routing (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo) for electrical routing
- Knowledge of signal processing, power fundamentals, and electrical engineering principles
- Familiarity with satellite subsystems and environmental factors in space
- Strong hands-on mentality and comfort working with physical hardware
- Knowledge of ECSS/ESCC standards, EMC/EMI practices, and satellite AIT processes
- Proficient in Python (scripting and interfacing with APIs) and Git (comfortable with branches and MRs)
