Specialist, Client Processing

We are seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Investor Services (Maker) to join our Alternatives Investor Services team. This role focuses on instruction processing, operational execution and reporting, forming the foundation of high quality investor servicing. The position is based in Wroclaw.

BNY Alternatives Investor Services provides scalable administrative, operational, and infrastructure solutions across the fund lifecycle. With a global footprint and deep domain expertise, we help clients drive growth, improve efficiency, and maintain strong investor relationships.

The Investor Services team delivers day to day operational support to our clients and onshore Investor Services Managers. We are responsible for accurate processing, timely delivery, and continuous improvement of investor-related activities.

As we support global clients, flexibility in working hours may be required.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Opening, maintaining, and updating shareholder/investor registers

  • Processing investor transactions/instructions

  • Supporting daily and periodic reporting activities, including static data setup and maintenance

  • Performing reconciliations (e.g. cash movements, banking details, investor data)

  • Supporting new client onboardings, fund launches, and other ad hoc operational projects

  • Ensuring tasks are completed with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and risk awareness

  • Actively contributing to process improvement initiatives, including:
    o Identifying manual or repetitive tasks
    o Supporting automation, digitization, and AI enabled solutions
    o Participating in testing or adoption of new tools and technologies

  • Client & Investor Reporting: following completion of transactions or capital events, IS need to issue reporting, such as contract notes, statements, capital call notices

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Strong team and collaboration skills as we work together to solve probles and provide excellent client service.

  • Fluent spoken and written English. This role is client-facing so excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver with speed and accuracy

  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Flexibility in tasks, working hours, and scope of responsibility

  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership

  • Experience in written client communication (preferred)

  • Previous experience in Financial Services or Operations (preferred)

  • An interest in process optimization, automation, and digital transformation
