Specialist, Strategic Finance

You will support strategic decision-making by creating and assessing business cases, managing purchase orders, and contributing to month-end closing activities. You will prepare accruals, reclasses and journal entries, enhance financial models and forecasts, build reporting packages and dashboards, and act as the financial counterpart for business areas, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a finance business partner to functional teams
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation
  • Contribute to month-end closing processes including accruals reclasses and journal entry preparation
  • Develop and evaluate business cases and scenario modelling
  • Contribute to financial modelling forecasting and long-range planning
  • Support and enhance reporting packages and dashboards

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A or controlling
  • Experience building and assessing business cases and budgeting
  • Working knowledge of PO systems and financial closing processes
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite
  • Familiarity with planning tools such as Anaplan
  • Experience with large datasets and basic SQL is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised proactive and detail-oriented
