Role Summary:
As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, you’ll be responsible for working with your Director to: develop and lead strategic sourcing events of moderate complexity; writing and negotiating contract terms and documents; and analyzing spend associated with specific indirect spend categories. Your work will positively impact bottom-line results/value while minimizing risks, foster internal and external relationships, and work with internal stakeholders to educate and promote the procurement policies.
You will report to a Manager, Strategic Sourcing.

Role Description:

• Simultaneously Lead indirect sourcing initiatives for IT, driving strategic improvements, and delivering on operational targets, savings goals, and business strategies

• Conduct total cost modeling and sensitivity/scenario analysis to help stakeholders understand trade-offs and benefits to multiple outcomes

• Assist with the analysis and planning for various components of indirect spend categories to ensure operational success and results

• Use sourcing tools to support departmental efforts to refine and improve procurement processes and policies

• Develop and manage relationships with business stakeholders and provide regular project status updates

• Partner with multiple corporate functions (e.g., Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Legal, etc.) as part of your sourcing projects and related activities

• Review, revise, and negotiate contract language

• Assist in the development and management of the contract renewal process

• Participate in supplier relationship activities (e.g., regular business reviews, vendor score carding, etc.)

• You will own sourcing projects and work with your Director to bring them to completion

Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in supply chain management, engineering, or business

• 3+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing

• Demonstrated capabilities of leading sourcing projects, contract negotiations and authoring, and driving savings/value

• Ability to build relationships through verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience coordinating teams and collecting insights

• Understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes, sourcing tools, and strategies
