Sr. Account Manager, Service Sales GSA
JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Account Manager, Service Sales – Global Strategic Accounts is a high-impact, revenue-driving role responsible for accelerating service sales across Vertiv’s full portfolio—Power, Thermal, Energy Storage, and Modular Solutions. This position partners closely with Global Strategic Account Directors, Offering teams, and Services leadership to expand service penetration and unlock growth within a specific set of key strategic accounts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all Services Sales - including Deployment, Contract, Monitoring & Controls, Repair, and Parts Services - for a specific group of assigned accounts. The may include Services outside of the Americas region as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive and execute strategic service sales plans aligned with customer needs and Vertiv’s capabilities, delivering measurable growth across assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to define ambitious annual targets—and consistently exceed them.
- Build, maintain, and actively manage a robust, high-visibility service sales pipeline.
- Partner with Offering and Marketing teams to develop compelling, customer-facing value propositions and sales materials.
- Lead the full sales cycle: identify opportunities, develop proposals, present solutions, and close deals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning service solutions with their operational and business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7–10+ years of experience in technical sales or service sales, with a proven track record of closing complex deals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of data center and communications industries preferred.
- Familiarity with Vertiv products and services is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple opportunities.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate contract and product challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a reputation as a closer.
TRAVEL:

The overall anticipated total compensation package for this role in CO is between $197k to $246k per year, inclusive of base salary and eligibility for a monthly sales incentive plan. Since monthly incentive compensation is variable, performance-based, and not guaranteed, the estimated base salary range for this role in the CO locality is between $132k to $164k per year; salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided during the hiring process.
