Sr. AI Engineer

Privia is seeking highly skilled and motivated AI/ML engineers to lead innovations in Contract management, VBC and RCM through advanced Generative AI solutions. This role emphasizes Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, and prompt engineering to automate complex workflows. You will design and deploy secure, scalable and responsible AI while collaborating across teams to deliver measurable impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design/Develop and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI models to drive operational efficiencies across VBC, RCM datasets

  • Implement advanced architectures including LLMs (Gemini, Vertex, GPT), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic frameworks

  • Build and Optimize end-to-end pipelines using Python, PySpark or T-SQL

  • Develop and fine-tune multiple GenAI models for digitization, summarization, prompt engineering and conversational AI

  • Apply MLOps best practices: model versioning, drift analysis, quantization, MLFlow, containerization with Docker and CI/CD Pipelines

  • Work with cloud platforms like GCP for scalable deployments

  • Integrate data warehousing solution like Snowflake and manage large scale data pipelines

  • Collaborate in agile environment, participate in sprint planning and maintain code repositories in Gitlab

  • Design, develop and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on the responsible use of AI

  • Apply best practices for LLM security, including output moderation, access control and auditability

  • Ensure compliance with Responsible AI principles and fairness, transparency and explainability

  • Deploy and manage GenAI solutions on Google suite; Integrate LLMs with enterprise systems using REST APIs, SDKs and orchestration too

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Computer science, engineering or related technical field preferred)

  • 4+ years of experience in AI/ML techniques like Prompt Engineering, RAG and Agentic AI

  • 4+ years of experience and strong expertise in Python, Pyspark, T-SQL or SQL and big-data technologies

  • 1+ years of experience with Generative AI frameworks/architecture

  • 1+ years of experience with any one of the cloud technologies, preferably GCP and Cloud native AI services

  • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab and containerization tools

  • 1+ years of experience with LLM security, Prompt Engg and Responsible AI practices

  • Proven experience of working within technical and business professionals in a matrix management environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Proven clearly demonstrated experience in in problem solving, data management and implementation

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business reporting requirements into technical quality standards

The salary range for this role is $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% . The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location
