Sr. Associate Food & Beverage Commercial Programs:
The Sr. Associate Food & Beverage Commercial Programs (FNB) will play a critical role in the successful planning and execution of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This position sits within the Food & Beverage Commercial Strategy vertical, reporting to the Director of F&B Commercial Strategy, and is intended to assist in the coordination and implementation of food and beverage commercial programs.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative role best suited for someone who enjoys details, clarity and precision in communication, completing tasks in a measurable way, and supporting project execution across multiple fronts. The Sr. Associate will directly support the F&B Commercial Strategy team to ensure that our commercial programs are effectively tracked, analyzed, communicated, and executed.
The role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale event planning, with visibility into multiple functional areas across Games Logistics & Services, Sport & Games Delivery, and Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Presentations and Reports: Collect and synthesize information, review and communicate data and translate action items into highly detailed and professional presentations and status reports for leadership, internal stakeholders and commercial partners.
- Manage Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with project leads across multiple functions and FNB Project Manager to align timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
- Maintain Organization: Coordinate communication, notes and ongoing deliverables to ensure project leads and team members have access to most relevant and up-to-date information.
- Other Project Work: Participate in special projects to support the LA28 Food Vision
Background and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Sports Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in sports and entertainment, adjacent industries or project management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
- The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
- The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
- Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Expectations:
- Excellent data analysis, presentation preparation skills, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge of project management tools (SmartSheet experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Loop) for presentations, reports and information gathering.
- Passion for sports, large-scale events, or the Olympic and Paralympic movement is a bonus!
The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000- $98,000.The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
