Business Development Manager, Government Engagement rolefocuses on aligning Panamax’s product, service and ecosystem capabilities tosolve for the challenges that government and associated organizations. Thisrole builds relevance and generates revenue by strengthening strategicpartnerships, winning project mandates and driving sales of digital platforms andsolutions, deepening relationships with governments and associatedorganizations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • End to end channel & client relationship andKey account management.
  • Developing growth strategies and plans majorlyon Government vertical
  • Managing and retaining relationships withexisting clients and Increasing client base
  • Forecasting, sales plan development, marketingplan execution with growth mindset.
  • Achieve targeted sales volumes and value forassigned territory on monthly and year-on-year basis.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports andrealistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shiftswhile being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Business generation from the new / untapped markets
  • Working with key members of the project team andthe client organization to obtain the information required to compile the bid
  • Assessing and addressing the technical andcommercial risks relating to the opportunity

Requirements

  • Experience working for or closely withgovernment agencies, managing process improvement and transformative changeinitiatives, as well as proven experience in engaging very senior governmentleaders to build durable relations
  • Able to integrate knowledge across disciplines,including technology, operations, sales, product, marketing, compliance andrisk.
  • Proven track record in leading governmentprojects and/or commercial deals in the assigned market. Experience of workingon government business, tender process, managing government relationships, andco-developing a solution with government
  • Consultative selling focused, with deep product,services, and solutions expertise.
  • Ability to skillfully lead complex regionalinitiatives that require collaboration across functional, geographical andcultural lines.
  • Self-motivated, thrives in a fast-pacedenvironment; readiness to take-on stretch goals.
  • Strong gravitas, exceptional relationshipmanagement, influencing and communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree required. MBA or graduatedegree preferred.
  • Fluency in the local language in the assignedmarket and English is required.
