Sr. Cost Control Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to oversee project budgeting, cost monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting for high‑value villa and building projects at Al Jurf. The role ensures strong financial discipline, accurate cost visibility, and early risk identification across all project phases. You will coordinate closely with planning, procurement, contracts, commercial, finance, and site teams to support informed decision‑making and maintain alignment between schedule and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project budgets and cost breakdown structures (CBS).
- Monitor expenditures, commitments, and cost‑to‑complete (CTC) forecasts.
- Identify cost variances early and ensure strong cost control compliance.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, dashboards, and cash flow forecasts.
- Analyze cost trends and provide early warnings on potential overruns.
- Evaluate variations, change requests, and subcontractor claims.
- Review subcontractor quotations, proposals, and payment applications.
- Ensure procurement commitments align with project budgets.
- Maintain accurate cost logs, coding, and ERP system updates.
- Coordinate with planning to align cost forecasts with project schedules.
- Validate progress and cost‑related data with site teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 12–15 years of experience in construction cost control (UAE preferred).
- Experience in luxury villa and high‑rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
