We are seeking a Sr. Developer, SAP ABAP. This hybrid role is based in our Selangor or Penang office.


Position Summary


Primarily responsible for assisting the SAP ABAP teams across regions in effectively providing solutions to the issues and finishing the developments. Other responsibilities include providing support for SAP Development activities for all global clients. This support includes understanding the flow and integration of data and information through related business processes and systems, resolving day to day system issues, recommending system design changes, thorough testing, and documentation. Also, the Senior developer/KANBAN Lead should be able to guide/mentor the developers in any of the development work or development process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design medium to high complexity solutions for SAP R/3 4.6 – ECC 6.0 updates across multiple functional modules and produce quality products.
  • Perform unit testing on assigned updates, including appropriate documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to RSI Support Engineers on escalated issues
  • Work closely with SCRUM team and understanding the design
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to team members in same SCRUM/KANBAN team
  • Coordinate handovers and knowledge transfers required to complete assigned work on schedule
  • Follow a defect-free mindset in designing, developing, testing and delivering solutions

Experience

  • 10+yrs of Advanced experience in SAP ABAP HR programming.
  • Good knowledge in any of the APAC country payrolls.
  • Experience in Object oriented programming – Classes and Methods
  • Expertise in SAP Script / Smartforms / Adobe Forms
  • Expertise in Interface programming involving file types: XML and JSON
  • Knowledge in BADIs, Implicit & Explicit enhancements.
  • Design medium to high complexity solutions for SAP R/3 4.6 – ECC 6.0, SAP S/4 HANA updates across multiple
  • Good knowledge in Agile process like SCRUM or KANBAN.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from accredited institution
