Sr. DevOps Engineer
This position is ideal for a DevOps professional with strong experience in CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure, who is seeking to contribute within a complex and regulated software development environment.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer in the Treat Release Team, you will be responsible for supporting and advancing CI/CD processes and tooling across Engineering and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) teams. The role includes designing and implementing automation solutions, maintaining and improving development infrastructure, and ensuring alignment with internal standards and practices.
You will collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to enhance development workflows, promote best practices across the software development lifecycle, and contribute to the stability, scalability, and efficiency of the organization’s tooling ecosystem.
- Support releases from infrastructure and CI/CD perspectives, ensuring smooth and stable delivery
- Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines within the existing tooling ecosystem
- Develop and enhance automation solutions (Python) to improve processes
- Evaluate and integrate new tools, plugins, and AI-based solutions where applicable
- Drive improvements in build stability, visibility, and delivery efficiency
- Promote reusable solutions, clear documentation, and collaboration across teams
- 8+ years in DevOps, SDET, SRE, or Software Engineering
- Strong understanding of enterprise SDLC and CI/CD practices
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience of system administration (Linux and/or Windows)
Technical Skills:
- CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitLab, or similar)
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with distributed systems and client-server architectures
- Git (DVCS)
- Containers (Docker, etc.)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity or interest in AI-driven tooling / automation
Ways of Working:
- Experience in Agile environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across global teams
Education & Language:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
