Your Impact

We are searching for a Technical Account Manager to work for a leading company in smart weapons, public safety, hardware, and advanced software/SaaS solutions for law enforcement agencies on a national and global level.

The SaaS Implementation Technical Account Manager will be responsible for working directly under the Professional Software Services Team and will be tasked with the management and delivery of Axon Records Management (RMS) and Standards (IA) systems. This role will be an integral part in the deployment of technical solutions to Public Safety clients. The Program Manager must have strong program management and leadership skills, software implementation experience, and knowledge of information technology concepts and processes. Additionally, the ability to work with customers, sales, product, engineering, and software services leaders to support the deployment of complex technical solutions within business timelines is critical. This role will also focus on scaling existing project methodologies to accommodate expansion into international markets.


What You’ll Do

Location: Remote within reach of San Juan for frequent on-site customer visits
Reports to: Manager, Professional Services
Direct Reports: 0
Travel Expectations: approx. 15 % Domestic and International

  • Manages all aspects of complex enterprise-grade SaaS product deployments
  • Joins forces with the Product and Engineering team to ensure national, state and/or territory requirements are accurately defined
  • Oversees program-level change management activities in conjunction with client partners and internal stakeholders
  • Ensures program milestones and deadlines are met and associated documentation supports customer acceptance for purposes of revenue recognition
  • Works closely with customers, sales, product, engineering, and software services leaders to define the vision, scope, and delivery timelines for project deliverables
  • Participates in the definition of program scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
  • Supports work estimation process in support of program planning activities
  • Operates with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and detail-orientation, while maintaining consistent lines of communication with all teams involved in each project
  • Scales existing project methodologies to support the deployment of solutions in international markets

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience utilizing technical program/project management tracking tools to ensure project tracking and completion, preferably Smartsheet
  • Experience delivering large software deployment, infrastructure, or enterprise application programs, including enterprise level and cross functional projects through successful completion.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail capabilities.
  • Previous experience with international business operations and scaling projects for international markets
  • Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.
  • US Citizenship (required for working with sensitive government data; must pass security clearance).
  • 5+ years of IT experience in a support or deployment role.
  • Ability to work autonomously to meet objectives with minimal oversight.
  • Analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
