Sr. Financial Analyst-Planning & Analysis

  • Serve as Finance business partner to the Systems operations leadership in meeting their business and financial objectives; provide regular reports of key performance indicators; identify variances from expected results, risks to projected performance and opportunities for improvement; present and communicate findings to operations leadership
  • Support the Systems accounting close and reporting processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy; prepare and review accounting entries and trial balance reports to ensure completeness
  • Prepare and maintain annual financial budget and monthly forecast for all of Systems manufacturing; coordinate with interdependent functional groups to produce an integrated, combined and by plant plan (factory labor and overhead, capital expenditures, rework, and scrap)
  • Work closely with Sales and Planning teams to help drive efficiencies in operations and controls over inventory management, spend controls and margin requirements
  • Maintain accuracy of the Manufacturing reporting package and KPIs; provide insight and analysis on month, year to date and full year results; compare actuals to Budget and Forecast
  • Support development of standardized reporting between Systems and CG as well as cost accounting procedures for proper make vs. buy analysis
  • Support the manufacturing productivity and Capital Allocation process; use rigorous analysis of data to provide leadership with awareness of operating trends and areas for improvement; perform ROI analysis on proposed Capital Expenditures; support post mortems on significant expenditures to assess financial benefit
  • Support the internal, external, and tax audit process through the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation; coordinate with auditors on related issues and findings
  • Support compliance with Corporate Accounting policies, GAAP, and local statutory and tax requirements for Mexico and Latin American entities
  • Serve as a proficient user of Safelite, Power BI, SAP/ECC and BPC; support testing and development of new functionality
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

  • 5+ years financial support in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment

  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP

  • Technical skill with accounting systems

  • Proficiency in Planning and Reporting software solutions

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting processes and procedures

Other:

Education/Certifications:

  • MBA, CMA, or CPA

Experience:

  • FPA & General Accounting experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of SAP and BPC


The pay range for this position is $80,700.00 - $131,475.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
