Sr. Full Stack .NET Developer (Remote, Contract)

OUR HIRING PROCESS:

  • We will review your application against our job requirements. We do not employ machine learning technologies during this phase as we believe every human deserves attention from another human. We do not think machines can evaluate your application quite like our seasoned recruiting professionals—every person is unique. We promise to give your candidacy a fair and detailed assessment.
  • We may then invite you to submit a video interview for the review of the hiring manager. This video interview is often followed by a test or short project that allows us to determine whether you will be a good fit for the team.
  • At this point, we will invite you to interview with our hiring manager and/or the interview team. Please note: We do not conduct interviews via text message, Telegram, etc. and we never hire anyone into our organization without having met you face-to-face (or via Zoom). You will be invited to come to a live meeting or Zoom, where you will meet our INFUSE team.
  • From there on, it’s decision time! If you are still excited to join INFUSE and we like you as much, we will have a conversation about your offer. We do not make offers without giving you the opportunity to speak with us live.

INFUSE is committed to complying with applicable data privacy and security laws and regulations. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our Intelligent Automation Department. In this role, you will be driving the development, maintenance, and evolution of internal automation products that empower our operational departments. You will work across the entire stack - handling backend services, internal web tools, complex integrations, data-processing flows, automation modules, and UI functionality.

This position goes beyond hands-on coding: you will help organize technical workflows within your assigned areas, unblock and mentor other developers, and collaborate with cross-departmental engineering teams to align architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Development Flow

  • Act as a technical anchor: support team members with architectural questions, implementation approaches, and resolving technical blockers.
  • Help define and elevate engineering standards, including code review guidelines, release workflows, and technical documentation expectations.
  • Design and develop robust backend services, web tools, APIs, and deep integrations using C# / .NET.
  • Build and support responsive frontend functionality using JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frameworks.
  • Refactor and modernize legacy automation logic, gradually migrating unstable or manual workflows into scalable, code-based solutions.
  • Optimize database structures, data flows, and service-to-service communication.
  • Lead production issue investigations, performing root-cause analysis and system stabilization.

2. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner closely with other technical departments (Platform, DevOps, Data, and Backend teams) to align on infrastructure, security, and API standards.
  • Clearly communicate technical and non-technical requirements across departments to ensure IA solutions fit seamlessly into the global company ecosystem.

Required Technical Skills

  • Backend Mastery: Strong commercial experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, with a deep understanding of backend architecture and REST API design.
  • Frontend Experience: Solid web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript) paired with hands-on experience in at least one modern framework (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
  • Legacy & Integration Engineering: Proven track record of working with system integrations, data exchange, and API-based communication. Ability to safely refactor legacy systems without disrupting existing business processes.
  • SDLC & Quality: Deep familiarity with Git, advanced branching strategies, code reviews, and release pipelines.
  • Observability: Strong debugging skills with a solid understanding of logging, monitoring, and production support workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Python for lightweight automation, scripting, parsing, or data processing.
  • Experience with browser automation and scraping tools (Playwright, Selenium, UiPath, RPA).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integrations, prompt-based workflows, or model-based decision logic.
  • Understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, or workflow automation tools like n8n.
  • Previous experience acting as a Tech Lead or Mentor on small-to-medium projects.

What We Offer

  • Impact: You will build tools that directly improve the daily lives and efficiency of our internal teams.
  • Growth: Opportunity to step into technical leadership while working with cutting-edge automation and AI trends.
  • Full Remote, Work schedule: Monday-Friday, from 10 AM to 7 PM EEST (incl. 60-min break)
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI and cloud solutions
  • Long-term B2B collaboration
  • Paid sick leave, vacation, and public holidays
  • Reduced Fridays during the summer
