Job Title: Java Backend Developer (Microservices & AWS)

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of design thinking, be a self-starter, and be comfortable working as an Individual Contributor (IC) in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build and manage Microservices-based architecture
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Apply design thinking principles to solve complex problems
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively
  • Work independently and take ownership of end-to-end delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in Java development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
  • Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
  • Good understanding of design patterns and design thinking
  • Ability to work as an Individual Contributor (IC)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with DevOps tools / CI-CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
