DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Automation Acceleration, located in Pune, India.
The Sr. Manager, Automation Acceleration in HR will lead the advancement of automation and intelligent solutions across HR Global Services, enabling more efficient, scalable, and responsive service delivery. This role will focus on integrating automation, data, and AI-powered capabilities into core HR processes to drive measurable business outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape next-generation service delivery by embedding intelligent automation, generative AI, and agent-based solutions into HR operations. The role combines strategy and execution, translating emerging technologies into practical, enterprise-ready solutions that enhance employee experience, improve accuracy, and accelerate decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of automation and intelligent solutions strategies aligned to HR Global Services priorities
Identify, prioritize, and deliver automation opportunities using AI-driven technologies, including machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent document processing
Manage a portfolio of automation initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, and quality expectations
Design and deploy end-to-end intelligent workflows integrating RPA, business rules engines, and adaptive AI capabilities
Partner with HR, IT, and digital teams to implement AI copilots, virtual assistants, and agent-based orchestration solutions
Drive adoption of autonomous workflows and multi-agent systems to enhance scalability and reduce manual effort
Establish governance frameworks for automation and responsible AI deployment, including model lifecycle management and risk controls
Leverage process mining, predictive analytics, and real-time data insights to optimize operations and continuously improve performance
Monitor impact and communicate value realization, including efficiency gains, cost savings, and service quality improvements
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team in a global, matrixed environment
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field)
Master’s degree or MBA preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
8-10 years of experience in HR operations, digital transformation, shared services, or technology-enabled operations
Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and transformation initiatives, including process analysis and redesign
Proven ability to lead automation or digital transformation projects (e.g., RPA, workflow tools, AI-enabled solutions)
Experience translating business needs into data-driven, technology-enabled solutions
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and geographies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
Preferred:
Experience with AI-enabled automation solutions, including generative AI, conversational AI, and intelligent document processing
Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, including autonomous agents, orchestration frameworks, and adaptive decision engines
Experience with process mining and predictive analytics tools
Background in HR Global Services or shared services environments
Knowledge of Agile and product-based delivery models
Exposure to cloud-based platforms and enterprise AI ecosystems
Certifications in automation, AI, or digital transformation
Other:
Language Requirements: Fluent in English
Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required
Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Automation, AI, or data-related certifications preferred
