Sr. Manager, Channel Strategy and Development, E-commerce

What You'll Do

The E-commerce Channel Strategy Lead owns the regional e-commerce strategy and performance, driving online channel growth through strong platform strategies, customer engagement models, and digital execution frameworks.
The E-commerce channel (direct) contributes 2.2M annual volume sales, $109M annual revenue, and $18 margin/ tire, ~$40M margin. The person will work with a multi-market scope that includes China, Japan, and ASEAN markets, with a potential to expand to India in the future.

Channel Strategy & Development

  • You will define regional e-commerce strategy across platforms and business models (marketplaces, D2C).
  • You will develop channel-specific value propositions and digital growth strategies.

Business Planning & Growth Execution

  • You will translate e-commerce strategy into actionable plans, KPIs, and growth initiatives.
  • You will drive execution of campaigns, promotions, and platform partnerships.

Channel Performance Management

  • You will monitor online performance metrics including traffic, conversion, basket size, and profitability.
  • You will identify optimization opportunities and implement improvements.

Customer & Product Strategy Integration

  • You will define digital assortment, pricing, and content strategies aligned to platform dynamics.
  • You will work with Marketing team to enable the right differentiated content strategy
  • You will work wtih Product team to define right product assortment between hero and shared SKUs.

Insights & Analytics Integration

  • You will partner with analytics teams to leverage performance data and shopper insights to continuously refine channel strategies
  • You will leverage digital analytics to continuously optimize performance and customer engagement.

What We're Looking for:

  • You with strong understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, including marketplaces, D2C, and platform dynamics.
  • You with expertise in digital shelf management, content optimization, and conversion drivers
  • You with ability to manage online pricing, promotions, and campaign execution to drive traffic and sales
  • You with strong analytical capability across traffic, conversion, basket size, and ROI metrics
  • You with experience in managing platform partnerships and customer relationships
  • You with ability to integrate e-commerce strategy with broader channel and commercial plans
  • You with strong execution mindset with ability to run campaigns, activations, and platform initiatives
  • You with 8–12 years in E-commerce, Digital, or Commercial roles
  • You have Proven experience managing online sales channels and platform performance
  • You with experience in working with E-commerce in China particularly TUHU, JD and T-Mall
  • You with strong experience with digital analytics and reporting tools
  • You with Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
