Want to join the leader in AI-powered data security?

The DMT Strategy & Operations team at Cohesity is on a mission to enable smarter, faster, and more scalable deal management through data, process, and technology. Our operationally minded team members are focused on empowering the broader DMT organization to do their best work — and increasingly, that means harnessing the power of AI.

As the Sr. Manager, AI Initiatives & DMT Operations, you will lead the development and execution of AI-driven programs that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and build lasting AI fluency across the DMT team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of DMT Strategy & Operations, you and your team will serve as the team’s internal AI champion — identifying high-impact opportunities, building scalable solutions, and coaching teammates to confidently integrate AI into their day-to-day workflows.

Initially you will also oversee a Graduate Assistant, providing mentorship and direction as you jointly execute on departmental projects as your team expands. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and emerging technology, making it ideal for someone who is equally comfortable thinking big and getting things done.

We are a collaborative, mission-driven team that thrives on continuous learning and operational excellence. We’re looking for a teammate who is excited to redefine how a world-class deal management team operates in the age of AI.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Lead AI Strategy for DMT: You will define and own the AI roadmap for the DMT Strategy & Operations team, identifying high-value use cases across deal management workflows, prioritizing initiatives, and driving adoption in order to measurably improve team efficiency and output quality.

  • Champion AI Literacy Across DMT: You will design and deliver AI enablement programs — including workshops, playbooks, and hands-on training sessions — to build confidence and capability with AI tools across all DMT team members, from analysts to senior leaders.

  • Build and Scale AI-Powered Solutions: You will prototype, test, and deploy AI-assisted workflows and tools (e.g., prompt libraries, automation templates, LLM-integrated processes) in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders in order to eliminate repetitive work and surface faster insights.

  • Lead Departmental Projects End-to-End: You will own high-priority DMT Operations projects from scoping through delivery, coordinating workstreams, managing timelines, and communicating progress to stakeholders in order to keep initiatives on track and aligned to business objectives.

  • Mentor and Manage a Graduate Assistant: You will provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and professional development to a Graduate Assistant, delegating project work thoughtfully and creating an environment where they can grow and contribute meaningfully.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: You will regularly audit existing DMT processes and tools, using data and feedback to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements, in order to ensure the team’s operating model evolves alongside business needs.

  • Measure and Report on AI Impact: You will establish metrics and reporting frameworks to track the adoption, usage, and business impact of AI initiatives, translating outcomes into clear narratives for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: You will monitor emerging AI tools, capabilities, and best practices — evaluating their applicability to DMT workflows and making evidence-based recommendations to keep Cohesity’s deal management function at the forefront of AI-enabled operations.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., large language models, automation platforms, AI-assisted analytics) to enhance personal and team productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision making.

  • Must have English language proficiency (can interact with a degree of fluency when speaking, reading, and writing in a professional and specialized setting).

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, deal management, revenue operations, or a related function — ideally within a high-growth enterprise technology company.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects from inception to delivery, with strong command of project management principles and tools.

  • Hands-on experience designing or deploying AI-assisted workflows, prompt engineering frameworks, or automation solutions in a business operations context.

  • Ability to translate complex operational challenges into clear problem statements and build scalable, practical solutions that non-technical teammates can adopt.

  • Experience building and delivering training or enablement programs that successfully shifted team behaviors and built new capabilities at scale.

  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills — comfortable defining metrics, interpreting results, and presenting findings to senior leadership.

  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members, with a coaching mindset and genuine investment in others’ growth.

  • Comfort working in matrixed, fast-paced environments with ambiguity and competing priorities; proactive problem solver who takes initiative.

  • Passion for Cohesity’s mission of simplifying data management — and for applying emerging technology to make teams more effective, not just more busy.
