Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, France, located in Paris.

This is a senior HR leadership role with accountability for driving performance, execution excellence, and strategic alignment across the assigned country for DePuy Synthes. This role is primarily responsible for translating HR strategy into execution and supporting the delivery of business results at country level. The position offers the opportunity to work crossfunctional , influence key stakeholders, and have a direct impact on business outcomes and patient care in a highly regulated MedTech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior HR leadership for the county market operations, ensuring alignment with DePuy Synthes’ regional and global strategies.

  • Execute HR business strategy at country level and ensure delivery of operational plans

  • Translate regional HR strategy into actionable plans and track execution progress

  • Partner with Business Leaders and Finance to deliver integrated business plans.

  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, healthcare stakeholders, and internal partners across the countries.

  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams, building leadership capability and a highperformance culture.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, ethical, and governance standards applicable to the assigned market.

  • Ensure compliance with Iocal labor law and internal policies; manage relationships with employee representatives and external labor bodies as required.

  • Monitor performance metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions as needed.

  • Build strong operational leadership bench and ensure team performance delivery

Where required to be managed locally:

  • Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures.

  • Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.

  • Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field is required.

  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically 10-12 years of progressive experience in HR management roles

  • Experience supporting country‑level or regional business operations in a matrixed organization.

  • Proficiency in managing Employee Relations and Labour Relations local activities

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.

  • Proven ability to drive HR strategy execution and deliver results in a matrixed organisation.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in the French healthcare or medical device market.

  • Exposure to regulated industries and compliance‑driven environments.

  • Experience supporting transformation, change management, or growth initiatives.

  • Familiarity with performance management and reporting tools.

  • Experience working with EMEA or global leadership teams.

Other:

  • Languages: French and English proficiency are required.

  • Travel: Up to 10–20% domestic and regional travel.

  • Certifications: Business management, operations, or project management certifications are preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€73,200.00 - €125,695.00
