WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Investigations and CAPA Excellence.

  • Own and govern the Operations investigations and CAPA team.

  • Establish a proactive investigation culture focused on root cause rigor and reduction of repeat events.

  • Oversee performance of investigation teams.

  • Establish and Lead Operations Governance.

  • Develop and sustain governance frameworks including KPI review forums and escalation pathways.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators.

  • Align priorities across Investigations, CI, and site operations.

  • Help improve adherence to IMEx principles and ways of working throughout Operations.

Drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence

  • Define and deploy the CI strategy in partnership with the Operations Senior Managers.

  • Lead teams executing CI initiatives delivering measurable improvements.

  • Embed Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Enable Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Oversee data analytics and trend identification.

  • Ensure consistent use of structured problem-solving methods.

  • Translate data into actionable insights.

Build Organizational Capability

  • Lead, develop, and coach teams.

  • Build capability in investigation excellence and CI methodologies.

  • Champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Ensure Compliance

  • Ensure alignment with GWI, cGMP, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain inspection readiness.

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements)

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and cGMP requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE (Preferred Requirements)

  • Previous experience leading investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience in GMP-regulated environments.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior management decisions.

  • Experience in knowledge management and sharing practices.

  • Ability to assess and develop talent within the organization.

  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $139,100.00 to $231,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
