Sr Manager, Property & Retail Mall Technology

The Senior Manager, Property & Retail Mall Technology will lead the organization's Commercial Property and Retail Mall Technology function, driving digital transformation and operational excellence through innovative Property Technology (PropTech) solutions. This role is responsible for developing and implementing smart building technologies, IoT platforms, mobile applications, and sustainability-focused solutions that enhance operational efficiency, tenant engagement, customer experience, and environmental performance across commercial and retail assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Property Technology roadmap across commercial and retail properties.
  • Drive innovation through the adoption of smart building systems, IoT technologies, and digital platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainability through technology.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of smart building, energy management, and mobile technology solutions.
  • Ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives from planning through deployment and support.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with property management, retail operations, IT, sustainability, and finance teams to align technology initiatives with business needs.
  • Engage senior leadership by presenting technology strategies, project updates, and business cases.
  • Manage relationships with external technology vendors, solution providers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Manage technology operating budgets and project expenditures.
  • Ensure cost-effective implementation of technology solutions with measurable return on investment (ROI).
  • Monitor technology performance, service quality, and operational effectiveness across deployed solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security requirements.
  • Establish best practices, governance frameworks, and operational procedures for technology deployment and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Property Technology (PropTech), IoT, Smart Building technologies, or related technology leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-wide technology initiatives within commercial property, real estate, retail, or related industries.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technology vendors and stakeholders.
