Sr. Marketing Manager, Cervical Health

The Cervical Health marketing team sits at the intersection of science, strategy, and customer connection. As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll help bring our cervical health portfolio to market in ways that are clear, credible, and compelling for healthcare professionals.

This role is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and execution driver—turning clinical insights, market trends, and customer needs into marketing programs that support adoption and growth. You’ll work closely with Sales, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, agency partners, and other teams to keep messaging sharp, compliant, and useful.

In short: you’ll help make complex information easier to understand and easier to act on.

Job Expectations

  • Develop and execute downstream marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs for the cervical health portfolio.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing tactics on time, within budget, and aligned to business goals.
  • Translate clinical guidelines, data, and market insights into clear messaging and value propositions for healthcare professionals.
  • Support new product introductions with integrated marketing plans, launch materials, and field readiness resources.
  • Create and update sales collateral, website content, creative briefs, proof sources, competitive materials, and customer-facing tools.
  • Define, track, and report on KPIs to measure campaign performance and adjust plans as needed.
  • Lead marketing projects through Legal, Regulatory, and compliance review processes.
  • Manage agency and vendor partners to deliver high-quality advertising, public relations, and campaign work.
  • Collaborate with Sales Education and Development to create training materials, talking points, objection-handling resources, and learning content.
  • Serve as a primary product marketing contact for field sales questions and support needs.

  • Strong commercial marketing instincts, with the ability to connect strategy to execution.
  • Experience turning clinical, technical, or scientific information into accessible and persuasive messaging.
  • Solid understanding of market research, customer insights, competitive analysis, and healthcare trends.
  • Ability to use data and KPIs to evaluate performance and make practical recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Skilled at managing agencies, vendors, timelines, budgets, and multiple moving pieces—without losing the plot.
  • Collaborative working style with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Product, and other commercial teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong understanding of healthcare professional, lab, and/or patient-related decision drivers.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating changing priorities in a regulated environment.
  • Ethical, resilient, and relationship-oriented, with the judgment to represent Hologic’s values in every interaction.

Additional Qualifications and Information

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, Product Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of downstream or commercial marketing experience required.
  • Experience in medical device, diagnostics, healthcare, or a related regulated industry required.
  • Experience with campaign strategy, product launches, sales enablement, market research, and agency management strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare customer environments, including healthcare professionals, laboratories, and/or consumer-facing healthcare markets.
  • Ability to manage materials through Legal, Regulatory, and compliance approval processes.
  • Travel required: average of 50%, approximately 10 days per month, based on business needs.
  • Must be able to attend corporate, in-house, field-based, customer, and industry meetings as needed.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $132,000 to $206,500 and it is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
