Hub Delivery Team in Japan is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to drive program insights, standardization and mechanisms across a matrixed and diverse international team. This individual will work with cross-functional leaders to gain alignment on common practices, policies, and prioritization across various central teams including product, marketing, network planning and quality as well as stakeholder teams such as ops integration, finance, risk and more.

Key job responsibilities
Volume and Capacity Planning: This individual will be responsible for capacity planning and volume planning for the existing Hub Delivery partners to meet the business objectives and goals along with long range planning and short term planning horizons, including delivering the forecasting capacity and volume following the operation planning and quarterly updates cadences. To deliver the sustainable and reliable capacity projections, the individual is also responsible for maintaining high compliance on network standardization such as ADV (Average Daily Volume), Delivery Radius and Working Days for all of Hub Delivery partners.
This position is very critical to orchestrate the AMZL planning ask and the capacity readiness at the field team. Therefore, this position requires high skills of data tabulation, dive deep analysis, collaboration with muti-functions, strategy building and driving execution.
The position also requires concise documentation and presentation skills to present the plans, opportunities and mitigation plans to the senior managers.
The work environment is diverse and may require working with people from different background and language skills, of both Japanese and English languages. Successful candidate is not only able to manipulate these two languages well, but have truly diverse mindset and is capable of overcoming language/cultural challenges through strong personal skills.
A day in the life
The individual work closely with field team managers and AMZL planning managers to run and submit the weekly volume planning cycle for both long range planning and short term planning. The individual also work closely within the same Hub Delivery program team such as network planning and business planning leaders to align on future business planning and network planning, in terms of where to launch how many new partners, so they can be timely reflected into the planning cycle.
We are driving the program globally in order to better learn from each different geographical experiences, and standardize operation for maximum operational efficiency. To achieve such global business excellence, we need to serve as the bridge to the local operational POCs and enable them at right momentum for business growth and developments.
