Sr. Power Apps Developer

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy low-code applications and automation workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate (cloud & desktop).
  • Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement scalable and secure applications.
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions, providing guidance on Power Platform best practices, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Manage Power Platform administration tasks, including environment setup, app migration, license/credit management, DLP policy implementation, and platform usage monitoring.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) for innovative low-code automation or AI-enabled use cases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and connected systems, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Document solutions, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing and governance compliance.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers or low-code engineers in Power Platform development, administration, and deployment processes.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new features and tools in Power Platform to improve efficiency and business impact.

Mandatory Experience and Skills

  • Hands-on Expertise in developing web apps and automation workflow using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate (cloud + desktop)
  • Hands-on Strong knowledge of Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate cloud/desktops flows.
  • Experience with SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions), and Microsoft office 365 integration with strong focus on SharePoint, Microsoft teams , and other office 365 based integrated apps build.
  • Some programming experience in JAVA/.NET/python will be preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience managing power platform - admin activities such as environment creation, management, apps movement from one environment to another, license credit assignments, tracking and reporting of platform usage, DLP etc.
  • Experience participating in solution architecture discussions, providing guidance on power apps/automate best practices, security, and scalability.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams.
  • Ability to design, code, and deploy applications independently.

Good to have

  • Experience using power apps AI services in power apps-based applications.
  • Experience using power automation as low code RPA use cases.
  • Prior experience with some programming languages such as .NET/ C# /Java/Python will be advantageous.
  • 6–9 years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically:
    • Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven)
    • Power Automate (Cloud + Desktop)
    • Dataverse
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade low-code solutions
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
