Sr. Pre-Construction Manager, North America Quick Commerce
Amazon’s Quick Commerce team is revolutionizing the customer experience through sub-30-minute delivery, rapidly scaling micro-fulfillment sites across North America. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Pre-Construction Manager, Quick Commerce Strategy to drive strategic planning, cost optimization, benchmarking, and portfolio-level decision support for this first-of-its-kind retail and logistics network.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical leader who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and enjoys solving complex business challenges through data-driven insights and cross-functional influence. The Senior Program Manager will partner closely with Construction, Design, Real Estate, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and international stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities, develop long-range planning assumptions, benchmark performance across regions, and establish scalable mechanisms that improve how Amazon plans and delivers its Quick Commerce network.
This individual will play a critical role in helping leadership understand key cost drivers, evaluate alternative delivery strategies, improve forecasting accuracy, and inform capital investment decisions across a rapidly growing portfolio. The role requires the ability to synthesize large amounts of information, develop executive-level recommendations, and influence senior leaders through rigorous analysis and strategic thinking.
Successful candidates will bring experience in strategy, program management, construction planning, consulting, finance, or operations, and will be comfortable navigating both detailed analyses and high-level business discussions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, executive communication skills, operational rigor, and a bias for action to help shape the future of Amazon’s Quick Commerce.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives focused on improving capital efficiency, reducing project costs, and optimizing construction delivery models across Amazon’s Quick Commerce network.

- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify key cost drivers, risks, and opportunities across construction, design, and procurement programs.
- Partner with Finance, Real Estate, Design, Construction, and Operations teams to support annual planning, forecasting, and long-range investment decisions.
- Build business cases and executive-level recommendations to support portfolio strategy and capital allocation decisions.
- Establish scalable reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into portfolio performance, cost trends, savings opportunities, and strategic risks.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve standardization, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making across the organization.
- Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate innovative approaches, industry trends, and best practices that can improve speed, cost, quality, and scalability across the Quick Commerce portfolio.
