Sr Procurement Project Spec
Sr Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical role responsible for driving the optimization and improvement of our organization's supplier base. You will play a pivotal part in enhancing supplier performance, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to a dedicated team of supplier development engineers and professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance their performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supplier processes and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and open communication
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Operations, to resolve supplierrelated issues and drive process improvements
- Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure a reliable and resilient supply chain
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supplier development and incorporate them into our processes
- Support new product development by collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely and successful product launches
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
