About the Team
The Payments team at tiket.com is responsible for delivering a seamless, secure, and efficient transaction experience for millions of travelers. We work closely with banks, fintech providers, payment gateways, and supply partners — airlines and hotels — to maintain a high payment success rate, move money reliably in both directions, and minimize fraud and cost.

Our mission spans the full money lifecycle: payment acceptance (integrating new methods, improving transaction routing and authorization rates, streamlining checkout), payout and remittance to our partners (settlement, reconciliation, multi-currency, and cost optimization), and fraud prevention across both. We take a strongly data-driven approach, analyzing authorization rates, transaction success, conversion (CVR), fraud loss, and settlement accuracy to refine our strategies and protect financial performance.

As part of the Payments team, you'll own a high-impact, end-to-end domain — and you'll help build out our partner payout and remittance infrastructure, an area that is still being shaped. Your work will directly affect user experience, partner trust, business growth, and revenue, making travel bookings faster, safer, and more economical for everyone involved.

Your main duty in flying with us:

  • Own the acceptance-to-payout product lifecycle end to end: card and alternative payment acceptance, payout and remittance to supply partners, and the fraud strategy that sits across both.

  • Drive authorization success rate and payment cost optimization — improving approval rates, reducing decline leakage, and lowering payment cost as a percentage of GBV.

  • Build and scale partner payout and remittance capabilities, including settlement flows, reconciliation, and multi-currency/FX cost management

  • Own fraud detection and risk mitigation strategy, balancing fraud loss against approval rates and managing chargeback and representment workflows using fraud decisioning tools.

  • Optimize checkout flows, payment retries, and dynamic routing to improve CVR.

  • Partner with engineering, risk, and finance to ship scalable, secure, and compliant solutions — driving alignment across these teams without relying on formal authority.

  • Use data and market research to size opportunities, defend tradeoffs, and anticipate shifts in the payments landscape.

  • Champion experimentation, A/B testing, and rigorous performance tracking to maximize transaction success and revenue impact.

  • Maintain working relationships with banks, fintech providers, and payment partners, ensuring tiket.com stays current with the evolving payment and regulatory environment.

  • Mentor and coach junior product managers, fostering a culture of ownership, problem-solving, and innovation.

Mandatory belongings that you must prepare:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of product management experience, preferably in payments, payment gateways/PSPs, fintech, or online travel/e-commerce.

  • Deep, hands-on understanding of payment systems and transaction flows — card mechanics (BIN routing, authorization, scheme rules, interchange), settlement and reconciliation, and fraud prevention.

  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable with SQL-level data analysis, A/B testing, and product experimentation to size impact and make decisions.

  • A self-starter who operates independently with low oversight, identifies pain points, drives execution, and reliably closes the loop.

  • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams — engineering, risk, and finance in particular.

  • Clear written communication: strong specs, PRDs, and async/doc-driven decision-making.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across banks, payment providers, and internal teams.

  • Fluent using AI to optimize productivity.

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
