Sr. Program Manager, WW Gift Cards
Amazon Gift Cards is seeking a results-oriented Program Manager to join the WW Gift Card Fraud Prevention team. This role will own fraud prevention programs across the GC lifecycle — from purchase-time controls to brand-level risk management — partnering with Machine Learning, Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP), Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to reduce bad debt while preserving customer experience. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to drive cross-functional execution at pace, operating at the intersection of fraud strategy, data analysis, and operational improvement.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute fraud prevention strategies that balance risk reduction with business growth and customer experience across multiple product lines and geographies
- Lead cross-functional programs spanning ML model deployment, risk rule optimization, partner integrations, and operational process design — driving alignment across teams that do not report to you
- Analyze fraud patterns at scale — identify emerging attack vectors, quantify business exposure, develop mitigation recommendations, and drive implementation to resolution
- Build and operate fraud monitoring and response frameworks that enable early detection and rapid containment of attacks across 20+ marketplaces
- Establish and manage partnerships with external stakeholders (payment networks, brand partners, industry groups) to improve fraud signal coverage and enable collaborative prevention
- Own fraud performance metrics and executive reporting — author business reviews for VP-level audiences with clear narratives on performance, root causes, and forward-looking plans
- Develop scalable operational frameworks (risk assessment criteria, escalation processes, decision frameworks) that enable regional teams to participate in fraud management
- Ensure fraud readiness for new product launches and market expansions by embedding preventive controls into the product development lifecycle
