Monks is looking for a Senior Project Manager. Your responsibility includes order intake, scoping, quoting, preparing timelines & planning resources, managing the production & delivery process on time, budget, and according to the quality KPIs pre-agreed with a client. You coordinate between project stakeholders and our internal teams to provide clients with a constant flow of high-end production work. You’re a proficient communicator - able to provide clear updates on the development of projects and knowing how to describe issues and required actions to Monks, locally or in other offices or clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- In this position, you preside over digital & print assets Monks produces for several brands.
- You will be managing multiple projects simultaneously: the in and output of our Design, Illustration and Animation Monks.
- You have solid scoping skills, which translate into realistic timings and resource estimates.
- Understand a client's needs and expectations and translate those into corresponding timelines, briefings and tracking routines.
- You plan, oversee and conquer, manage the input and output of a team that includes: creatives, designers, developers, and QA analysts.
- You make sure our productions hit excellent quality. Focus on delivery of Digital and Print assets in general.
- You’re able to detect potential problems in projects and take action to solve them.
- You coordinate between project stakeholders and our internal teams to provide clients with a constant flow of high-end production work.
- You lead project-related meetings and prepare client meeting reports including status, next steps, deadlines and responsibilities.
- You have to deliver clear instructions on the deliverables and timings and you are open to suggestions from the team.
- Keep all project stakeholders informed and up-to-date, distribute status, information about changes, technical requirements and other project documents.
- Present project status information in an easy-to-use and easy-to-access format to meet the team information needs.
- Encourage collaboration between team members, inspire trust through honest and transparent communication and continually encourage the team to maintain its focus.
- You are equally good at managing relationships with clients and S4 folks while establishing trust and productive collaboration practices.
- A big part of your day-to-day is briefing team members on delivery objectives and keeping stakeholders informed on the progress of projects.
- A PM is responsible for running profitable projects: track financial health, including burn reports and how a project is sold.
- Scope creep and change request management is an essential part of the You are responsible for the resources planning & forecast as well as the budget/hours spent on your projects, and track accordingly.
- When a project gets behind schedule, work with the team to find a solution rather than assign blame.
- You make sure deadlines are met with lethal precision, and flag the ones that aren’t attainable upfront.
- When facing problems or moments of high pressure keep calm and find opportunities with the team to solve the issues.
- You know how to deal with stress: ‘Keep calm and get shit done’ is what this job is all about, after all.
- Your job is to constantly balance resources and workload: your planning and coordination are key for successfully delivering projects on time.
- You’ll also evaluate the good, the bad and the ugly of finished projects to improve our workflows and processes.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is first and foremost an excellent project manager — someone
who knows how to hustle internal resources to meet external deadlines no matter what.
- Your 6+ years of experience in digital advertising or production have made you fabulous at working under tight deadlines and phenomenal at communicating with equally busy clients and coworkers.
- You know how to work with media plans and can manage the launch of even the biggest of digital ad campaigns.
- You’re a proficient communicator — able to provide clear updates on the development of projects and knowing how to describe issues and required actions to Monks in other offices.
- You have solid scoping skills, which translate into realistic timings and resource estimates.
- Client facing is a must
- You’re acquainted with the (post) production of film, image, print and animation assets for social media.
- Knowledge in production process ATL, BTL, Digital, Automation and AI.
- Knowledge of the creative process, or willingness to learn quickly. Ability to create and enforce project timelines.
- You know how to communicate effectively with account leads, creative teams, as well as directly with clients. This includes providing project status updates, giving feedback, and negotiating.
- Super planning, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal) with extreme attention to detail.
- Team player who can successfully work across teams, time zones, and technologies.
- Proficient English. This will be evaluated during the selection process.
Nice-to-have
- Experience producing or managing campaigns with different types of assets.
- Experience in at-scale campaigns.
- Experience working with media agencies and media plans
- Interest in AI technologies.
