Sr.Proposal Engineer

  • Strong understanding of Instrumentation\n& Control system and electrical systems, including various types of PLC,\nSCADA platform, their modules and operating philosophies.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to understand both\nstandalone and integrated (mass\-based) system and develop system architecture\naccordingly.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Good knowledge of major\nindustrial communication protocols, including wired and wireless technologies and\nfamiliarity with products from different brands.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Shall be able to perform\ntechnical evaluation of multiple electronic and instrumentation products,\nensuring proper selection based on technical suitability and cost\-effectiveness.<\/span><\/span><\/span>Awareness of commercial\nterminology and documentation commonly used in government and non\-government\ntenders and proposals.<\/span><\/span>

  • Should be well\-versed in\nthe tendering process, including managing multiple tender portals, identifying\nnew tenders aligned with TAS Product & Solution Portfolio, preparing tender\ndocumentation, submitting techno\-commercial bids, participating in reverse auctions,\nand supporting the sales team throughout the entire bid process, from the\npre\-bid stage to the commercial opening of bids Effectively and efficiently\nprepare and maintain the bid timetable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Prepare bid forecasts and cost estimates in alignment with the overall bid budget.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Act as the <\/span>primary\npoint of contact<\/span><\/span> between clients and the internal Bid Team for all\nbid\-related communications and operations.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Communications<\/span> <\/span><\/span>with<\/span> <\/span><\/span>all<\/span> <\/span><\/span>internal<\/span> <\/span><\/span>and<\/span> <\/span><\/span>external<\/span> <\/span><\/span>stakeholders<\/span> <\/span><\/span>are<\/span> <\/span><\/span>well<\/span> <\/span><\/span>planned<\/span> <\/span><\/span>and <\/span>executed.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Setup<\/span> <\/span><\/span>and<\/span> <\/span><\/span>manage<\/span> <\/span><\/span>an<\/span> <\/span><\/span>appropriate<\/span> <\/span><\/span>bid<\/span> <\/span><\/span>document<\/span> <\/span><\/span>repository.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Project<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Manage\nthe bid process<\/span> <\/span><\/span>from<\/span> <\/span><\/span>identifying<\/span> <\/span><\/span>initial<\/span> <\/span><\/span>opportunity<\/span> <\/span><\/span>through to submission of final tender to\ncontract signature.<\/span><\/span>

  • Work<\/span> <\/span><\/span>with<\/span> <\/span><\/span>the<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Bid<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Support<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Manager<\/span> <\/span><\/span>to<\/span> <\/span><\/span>forecast<\/span> <\/span><\/span>and <\/span>plan.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Work<\/span> <\/span><\/span>with<\/span> <\/span><\/span>the<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Sales<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Lead<\/span> <\/span><\/span>and<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Bid<\/span> <\/span><\/span>team<\/span> <\/span><\/span>in<\/span> <\/span><\/span>preparing<\/span> <\/span><\/span>client<\/span> presentations.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Prepare <\/span><\/span><\/span>techno \-commercial offers and quotations based on client enquiries,\nin coordination with the Head of Business Development and Sales.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Provide pre\-sales technical support, including assistance\nin client meetings and presentations.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to <\/span>marketing <\/span><\/span>and communication (MARCOM) activities and lead generation.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Independently handle customer communication,\nincluding clarifying requirements and negotiating technical and commercial terms.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Engage with existing and past customers to identify\nnew business opportunities and generate fresh leads.<\/span><\/span>
