Sr Software Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Software Developer based in Brazil.

This is a senior technical role focused on building, evolving, and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions within the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will work on complex platform customizations, integrations, and automation initiatives that directly support large-scale business operations. The role requires strong architectural understanding, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in dynamic enterprise environments. You will contribute to improving system scalability, performance, and reliability while ensuring adherence to best practices. In addition, you will participate in the implementation of automation and AI-driven capabilities within the platform. This is a highly collaborative position where technical leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are essential to delivering high-value digital solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and best practices.
  • Implement customizations using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and related tools.
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, and API-based architectures.
  • Support and evolve Service Catalog and Service Level Management (SLM) modules.
  • Participate in automation and AI-enabled feature implementation within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical reviews, promote development best practices, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure proper technical documentation and support deployment activities in production environments.
  • Requirements:

    • Strong experience developing and maintaining solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
    • Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
    • Solid hands-on experience with JavaScript development in ServiceNow.
    • Proven experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, and IntegrationHub.
    • Experience with Service Catalog and Service Level Management (SLM) modules.
    • Knowledge of Flow Designer, Workflow automation, and platform governance best practices.
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborative development environments.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
    • Additional certifications such as CAD or CIS, and exposure to ITSM, ITOM, or AI-driven ServiceNow features are a plus.
