Sr. Software Engineer (DevOps Automation)

About the Role

• You will lead deployment automation of modern Big Data systems on-premise as well as cloud (AWS, GCP & Azure), CI/CD for software development lifecycle.
• You will play a key role in operationalization of Unravel SaaS, automated Unravel deployments in customer VPCs, and large-scale live playground environments used by field teams to demonstrate Unravel.
• The position is at Unravel’s India Development centre (located in Bangalore and Pune).

About You

• Expertise in Python and Infra-As-Code framework such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Minimum 3+ years of DevOps experience with hands-on experience in Jenkins, Docker Technologies(Docker/ Kubernetes), at-least one of the cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Good knowledge of Linux operating system and Unix system administration.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Impala, Presto, DataBricks, Cloud data technologies is a plus
• Should have the operational instincts and keen attention to details to think beyond the obvious and come up with solutions.
