Sr. Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 annually Responsibilities * Design and develop conversational AI solutions * Build and maintain backend integrations with RESTful APIs * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements * Implement and optimize NLU training strategies * Write clean and maintainable code * Participate in code reviews and manage version control * Troubleshoot production issues and document technical processes Qualifications * Conversational AI experience with platforms like Soundhound Amelia, Boost.ai, Cognigy, or Dialogflow * Proficiency in version control using Git/GitHub * Familiarity with project management tools like Atlassian Jira * Experience in microservice architecture and object-oriented programming * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities * Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience Benefits * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage * 401(k) plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Parental leave benefits * Professional development reimbursement opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
