Sr. Strategic Analyst - Category Marketing

JOB DUTIES
  • Lead the translation of complex business questions from Category Management into actionable data solutions and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain intricate SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions within Snowflake and SQL Server environments.
  • Oversee the creation, automation, and maintenance of recurring reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), providing technical guidance as needed.
  • Participate in cross-functional strategic planning discussions, representing the analytics perspective and recommending process improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts on data solution development and best practices.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to optimize business processes through the effective application of technology and data analytics.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support decisions related to pricing, product mix, and inventory planning.
MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of professional experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related IT field.
  • Proficient professional expertise in SQL, including advanced querying, stored procedures, and function development.
  • Demonstrated experience with Snowflake SQL development and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report generation and automation.
  • Ability to independently resolve moderately complex problems requiring in-depth technical knowledge.
