SYSTRA has completed 17,000+ Square kilometer of Statutory Master Planning and 15+ City Development Plans (CDPs).

We are seeking applications for the position of Sr. Urban Planner for Urban Infrastructure project.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of urban development projects.
  • Prepare and review Town Planning Schemes (TPS) and land pooling proposals.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, and stakeholders for project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local planning regulations, zoning laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, land-use planning, and infrastructure planning.
  • Develop strategic urban development frameworks aligned with sustainable planning practices.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior planning staff.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultations and public engagement processes.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and planning documentation for approvals.

Profile/Skills

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Planning
  • Mandatory Post-Graduation in Planning (Urban Planning / Regional Planning or equivalent)

Experience Required:

  • Total Experience: Minimum 8 years in urban planning or related field
  • Relevant Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience in:
    • Town Development Scheme (TPS)
    • Land Pooling Mechanism
    • Or equivalent urban land development frameworks
