Job Summary
Responsible in the collection and analysis of pertinent data that is business related to the Packaging department for customer orders. Under minimal supervision leads the SSP team for all business needs to include picking silver stock for and retrieving materials needed for packaging to fulfill customer orders. Sales order fulfillment and transferring to the appropriate department. Communicates any concerns or issues immediately to department supervisor.
- Performs inventory transfers to fulfill CPO’s (Campaign Production Orders) for packaging and sales orders by Blue Yonder and Warehouse Management System.
- Communicates to the PKG Master Production Scheduler with any issues while picking orders to expedite resolution.
- Serves as a vital leadership resource within department engaging in trouble shooting and problem resolve daily.
- Waves/releases and prioritizes Campaign Production Orders (CPO’s) per direction from the Master Production Scheduler.
- Promotes constant engagement and motivation among team members for a efficient and effective department.
- Operates PIT’s (power industrial trucks), pallet jacks and other equipment to safely move materials.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures, all facility and company guidelines and procedures.
- Responsible for training all team members to SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), WI’s (Work Instructions) and communicate with Packaging training Coordinator and supervisor for all requirements.
- Cycle counts packaging material and informs appropriate departments of outcome and systematic adjustments needed.
- Complete carton and label sample requests to international department for external customers.
- Responsible to support all PTIG and engineering requests for material, work with finance to use the appropriate adjustment code and ensure inventory levels are accurate.

- Responsible for routine administrative responsibilities including maintaining files and processing necessary paperwork.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned.
As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and all regulatory, Facility and CooperVision guidelines
- Demonstrated exceptional guidance and effective leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and efficiently prioritize business/customer needs
- Proven knowledge and understanding of all packaging systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to pull and analyze data
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and proven effectiveness to guide and manage teams
- ASRS pick ports
- Blue Yonder experience
- Packaging systems including Warehouse management
Work Environment:
Physically demanding and will involve standing for a significant proportion of the shift. The physical demands of this role could require extended periods of standing and walking, frequent use of fine motor skills and coordination, and regular movements such as bending, crouching, and kneeling. It also involves occasional lifting up to 45 lbs., pushing/pulling, and limited sitting, climbing, or equipment operation.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $19.71 and $23.17 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
