Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Informations Technology team as a Staff Business Systems Analyst. The Staff Business Systems Analyst serves as a key resource for NetSuite and operations systems, providing expertise across modules such as quote-to-cash, order-to-build, finance and accounting, and inventory. Responsibility includes acting as primary contact for all NetSuite and operations systems inquiries while contributing to the adoption and optimization of these systems within the organization and partnering with senior leadership to identify and implement efficiencies, providing training to end users, and leading system-related initiatives to meet business objectives.
How you will make an impact:
- Lead and participate in managing system projects, including the development, enhancement, and implementation of complex business applications to meet organizational needs.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for NetSuite, RF-Smart, and operation systems ensuring optimal use of system functionalities across departments.
- Collaborate with department leaders, Business Process Owners, and system Super Users to design and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Conduct formal and informal training sessions for end users, including group sessions and one-on-one support, to improve system adoption and proficiency.
- Administer and maintain modules of the Enterprise Resource Planning system (NetSuite) and related operations systems - including access control, system improvements, and compliance with SOX requirements.
- Evaluate work products, methods, and procedures, resolving issues during and after project implementation to ensure operational continuity.
- Partner with business leaders to define and document business requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain project scope, timelines, and deliverables for system upgrades, enhancements, or new implementations.
- Perform system audits and ensure data integrity by establishing and enforcing governance standards.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Create detailed documentation, including process flows, technical requirements, and user guides, to support ongoing system improvements.
- Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for scalability and optimization based on evolving business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline business processes.
- Assist in managing vendor relationships and evaluating new technologies or tools to enhance system capabilities.
- Perform other functions and duties as required
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) with minimum 8 years of relevant experience required.
- 6-8 years of experience with NetSuite, including expertise in supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, and creating reports and dashboard required.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, operations tools, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and scalable solutions.
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
- Proven ability to influence and motivate peers and leadership to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience documenting business processes, creating workflows, and preparing user guides.
- Familiarity with automation and process improvement tools to streamline business operations is a plus.
- Self-starter with a track record of operating in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet project deadlines.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and adjust to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Commitment to excellence with a focus on continuous improvement, compliance, and ensuring the highest standards in all processes and deliverables.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
