Staff Data Analyst
You will develop and lead data strategies for regulatory engagements, owning ETL development, source data validation, and analysis. You will translate regulatory expectations into measurable commitments and influence product and compliance roadmaps. You will harness raw data to educate internal and external partners, create clear visualizations and narratives for regulators, and collaborate with legal and engineering to inform strategic builds. You will lead multiple high-impact workstreams, communicate insights to drive action, and coach others on compliance analytics and data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Lead data strategy for regulatory engagements, including ETL development, source data validation, and analysis
- Connect regulatory expectations and commitments to Compliance and Product roadmaps
- Analyze raw data to quantify compliance risk and measure program effectiveness
- Create and present clear data visualizations and narratives for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with legal and engineering partners to inform compliance-related builds
- Lead and manage multiple high-impact workstreams to drive actionable outcomes
- Educate and coach colleagues on compliance analytics and data-driven practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Compliance/AML experience
- Expert-level SQL skills
- Expert-level abilities with data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker)
- Expert in ETL development
- Proven track record solving large, complex problems using deep technical expertise
- Experience defining problems and managing projects in fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication and data visualization skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and polish
