Staff Engineer Product Test Engineering
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Characterization:
- Lead comprehensive characterization sweeps: electrical, timing, temperature, voltage, stress conditions, and process corners.
- Analyze parametric and functional data to identify failure mechanisms, model device behavior, and feed loopbacks to design/fab teams.
- Develop characterization methodologies tailored to advanced flash architectures (NOR Flash, Floating Gate, Mirror Bit).
- Qualification:
- Develop and execute qualification plans for new products, including testing, inspection, and validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate with reliability screening, burn-in, HTOL, UHTR, data retention, endurance (P/E cycles), and wear-leveling validation.
- Test Strategy & Program Development:
- Develop, debug, and optimize ATE test programs using C/C++, Python, or hardware description languages.
- Architect and implement scalable test strategies for new flash memory products across all phases (NPI, ramp, production).
- Balance test coverage, test time, and cost to meet aggressive business and schedule targets.
- Debug, Yield & Test Optimization
- Lead root-cause analysis for test escapes, yield losses, and field reliability issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives: test time reduction, fault coverage enhancement, binning optimization, and test cost reduction.
- Implement data-driven test management using statistical tools, automation, and ML/AI where applicable
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical support for R&D activities, including troubleshooting, debug, and optimization of product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Mentor junior engineers, review test architectures, and establish best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Fab, Systems, and Supply Chain to ensure test readiness, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery
