What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking an experienced Office 365 Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management, complemented by hands-on experience in SharePoint, collaboration platforms, and broader Microsoft 365 administration. This role is responsible for delivering a secure, scalable, and high-performing modern workplace across devices, identities, and collaboration platforms. Central to delivering a secure digital workplace, you will drive strong governance across endpoints, identity, and collaboration platforms, directly impacting employee productivity, security posture, and overall operational efficiency.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Administer and support the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, managing tenant configuration, governance, and service health.
- Design and manage SharePoint Online environments, encompassing site collections, access controls, information architecture, and governance, while implementing data classification and retention policies.
- Manage identities and access through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), implementing Conditional Access policies, MFA enforcement, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to support identity lifecycle processes.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager for holistic device lifecycle management across Windows, iOS, and Android endpoints (including Autopilot provisioning, compliance policies, and patching).
- Partner with Security teams to implement Zero Trust and endpoint security controls, administering capabilities like Microsoft Defender, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Information Protection.
- Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and scripting tools to optimize provisioning, onboarding, offboarding workflows, and improve overall performance.
- Provide Tier 2/3 operational support, troubleshoot issues related to device enrollment and application delivery, and maintain robust documentation and runbooks.
- Drive continuous improvement by achieving key success metrics related to Intune compliance rates, SharePoint adoption, device provisioning speed, and SLA performance for user support.
- Manage macOS devices utilizing Kandji, Jamf, or equivalent MDM tools to implement device hardening and automated patching aligned with enterprise standards.
Requirements
- Years Experience: 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, coupled with 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
- Detailed Experience:
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and comprehensive identity controls.
- Proven background in Windows device lifecycle management, including Autopilot, compliance, and configuration profiles.
- Solid hands-on capability in SharePoint Online administration, site governance, and collaboration policy management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and developing automation workflows.
- Deep understanding of endpoint security baselines, compliance best practices, and audit support (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Preferred: Experience with Kandji, Jamf, or macOS MDM platforms (Good to have, not mandatory).
- Preferred: Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and the Microsoft Security stack (Defender suite, Purview).
- Preferred: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
