You will lead design for new product experiences from concept through launch, shaping how customers interact with emerging financial services. You will translate complex financial, legal, and technical requirements into clear, usable interfaces and take ownership of design decisions that influence product strategy and customer outcomes. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and legal/compliance partners and, when needed, with external partners to deliver high-quality designs. You will use modern design tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve speed, quality, and collaboration. This role is based in Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design for new product initiatives from exploration through launch
  • Translate complex financial, legal, and technical requirements into simple and effective design solutions
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and legal teams to align on requirements and deliver product experiences
  • Influence executive decision-making and product strategy by championing design vision
  • Use design tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve speed, quality, and collaboration

Requirements

  • Significant experience designing consumer-facing digital products with a strong portfolio demonstrating craft and usability
  • Experience leading design work independently on complex projects
  • Comfortable working within regulated domains and collaborating with legal or compliance partners
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Experience with modern design tools such as Figma and incorporation of AI tools into design workflows
