Staff Product Manager, Cortex

You will own the Cortex product roadmap end-to-end and drive its evolution from a research assistant to an AI that reasons, plans, and acts for customers. You will set technical direction with engineering partners, design model and system decisions, build large-scale evaluation and safety frameworks, ship consumer experiences that drive adoption and retention, navigate regulatory constraints with Legal & Compliance, and lead cross-functional execution to turn ambiguity into shipped product.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Cortex product roadmap end-to-end
  • Drive technical direction and make decisions on AI architecture, model strategy, and system design
  • Build and evolve evaluation and safety frameworks at scale
  • Ship consumer AI experiences that drive adoption and retention
  • Navigate the regulatory landscape in partnership with Legal and Compliance
  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, design, data science, compliance, and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of consumer-facing product management experience
  • 3+ years of experience on AI or ML powered products
  • Deep fluency in LLM architectures, agentic systems, and retrieval-augmented generation
  • Experience making build-vs-buy decisions, model selection, and system design
  • Proven track record of translating AI research and tooling into product roadmap decisions
  • Experience building evaluation frameworks that measure AI quality, accuracy, and safety at scale
  • Expertise in shipping consumer AI products and improving user-facing experiences iteratively
  • Experience shipping AI products in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with LLM evaluation and observability tooling
  • Experience with agentic AI systems in production
  • Background in financial advice, portfolio management, or wealth-tech products
