We ingest, analyze, and structure Big Data about our customers and prospects—their lifestyles, preferences, content behavior, and demographics—to enable targeted advertising, boost engagement, drive subscriptions, and reduce churn.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership while actively contributing to the design and development of scalable cloud-based data products and services.

In this role, you will work closely with Architects, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Senior Leadership to build mission-critical data solutions using modern cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.

A primary focus of this position is building and scaling Data Clean Room integrations and privacy-preserving collaboration capabilities that support Advertising Sales and other high-visibility revenue stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of major platform enhancements and new product capabilities.

  • Produce clear, scalable, and actionable technical designs while guiding execution across multiple teams.

  • Design complex architectures and system components that solve business problems using pragmatic, maintainable, and scalable engineering solutions.

  • Establish and promote engineering standards, best practices, and architectural principles across teams.

  • Serve as a technical mentor and multiplier by elevating engineering quality and fostering technical excellence.

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data services that power Data Clean Room workflows, including onboarding, policy enforcement, audience overlap analysis, measurement, and activation.

  • Engineer and own complex data transformation, cleansing, imputation, and preparation processes to ensure high-quality downstream analytics, machine learning, and reporting.

  • Build privacy-safe collaboration capabilities such as audience overlap analysis, attribution modeling, conversion measurement, and lookalike audience modeling through scalable APIs and reusable platform services.

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to deliver data-driven and ML-powered products.

  • Provide guidance on data architecture, governance, and platform design decisions.

  • Build highly reliable, secure, observable, and scalable production systems.

  • Contribute to operational readiness, monitoring, incident management, and support processes.

  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities where applicable.

  • Drive continuous improvements in platform performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
