In partnership with Applied Tech and Jefferson College, Bethesda offers a paid CNA Apprenticeship Program for compassionate individuals who want to begin a rewarding career in healthcare. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, you'll gain the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to provide exceptional care while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals.
As a CNA Apprentice, you'll learn to:
- Support residents with daily living activities
- Assist with mobility, meals, and personal care
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Develop the skills needed for a successful career in long-term care

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training and CNA certification (as required by state law)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents with mobility using proper equipment and assistance
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation
