We\nprovide comprehensive services across prevention, care, support, and treatment,\nparticularly for those affected by HIV and other infectious diseases.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>YRGMERF\nis anticipating a project to strengthen the Urban Ecosystem Against Future\nDisease Threats by implementing a framework for urban\-peri\-urban coordination.\nThis project if commissioned will require a team of below positions to support\nthe coordination, implementation and monitoring of several components.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/p>The State Data Quality\nAssurance (DQA) Officer will be responsible for ensuring a performance tracker\nsystem is used for the project activities and data quality assurance systems\nare in place. Will report to State Manager in Guwahati. Will work closely with\nother team members.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/p>Performance\nTracking<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/p>- In alignment with the\nproject design, the State DQA officer is expected to establish a performance\ntracker in coordination with the National team and provides orientation to the\nstate team members on its use.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Regularly uses the\ntracker both in the field and while preparing the report to ensure that the\nmonthly activity deliverables are in progress.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Flags delays or\nperformance lags in consultation with the city coordinator and project lead to\nprepare an action plan, so that the team is able to improve on their\nperformance.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures timely\npreparation of reports, documents and technical briefs in consultation with the\ndonor and stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Supports in preparation\nof baseline for the project and ensures regular monitoring of the deliverables\nagainst those baselines.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Assurance<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/p> <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>- Although no patient or\ndisease level data will be captured or shared for use in the project, there\nwill be a significant level of data use in implementing the project activities\nfrom secondary sources. The project team will also generate process and output\nlevel information for use, State DQA officer will adapt the DQA system\ndeveloped by the National Team to the<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Works closely with the\nsubject experts to ensure that the secondary sources of data are relevant for\nplanning and designing interventions. How those secondary sources of data can\nbe used for projections about future disease outbreaks or patterns.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Conducts field visit to\nobserve field operations first\-hand, interact with local stakeholders<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures that all project\nactivities comply with YRGMERF\u2019s organisational policies on ethics,\nsafeguarding, data protection, and financial management<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Reporting and\nDocumentation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/p>- Ensures that the data\nquality checks are performed during field visits and the gaps are discussed\nwith the team, subject experts.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Progress monitoring and\ndocumentation of the activities for the submission to donor and stakeholders is\na key responsibility of this position.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Qualifications and Experience<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>- Masters in Statistics or\nEpidemiology or Population Studies with minimum 5 years' experience in managing\ndata systems and data use in programming in Karnataka under NUHM, Urban Health,\nDisease Surveillance, One Health Activities, National Vector Borne Control\nProgram.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
