Job Title: Statutory Reporting Accountant
Department & Team: Finance - Controllership Team
Reports to: Senior Manager
Location: Manila

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented finance professional to join our Statutory Reporting team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, supporting statutory compliance and financial reporting across a diverse portfolio of Genesys subsidiaries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day statutory accounting and external reporting for assigned entities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in statutory reporting processes, aligned with our automation, standardization, and simplification strategy.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors on assigned audits, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of audit requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, and external accounting firms to ensure accuracy and timeliness of statutory financial data.
  • Support onboarding of new accounting firms and auditors, including procurement requests and setup coordination.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant, RA, CPA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience, including at least 2 years of experience in audit and/or external reporting, preferably within a Big 4 firm or multinational corporation.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with other accounting standards is a plus.
  • Proven experience in preparing cash flow statements and consolidated financial statements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Workday Financials, OneSource Statutory Reporting software is preferred
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Smartsheet, and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative working relationships.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
