Steel Reinforcement Worker
Job Responsibilities
- Cut, bend, fabricate, and install reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Assemble and secure steel reinforcement for concrete structures.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and bar bending schedules.
- Operate hand tools and equipment for rebar fabrication and installation.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and support timely completion of projects.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in reinforcing steel/rebar works.
- Physically fit and able to work in a construction site environment.
- Able to read construction drawings and follow work instructions.
- Familiar with workplace safety practices.
- Willing to work outdoors and in a team environment.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, Sundays, and Public Holidays when required by project schedules and operational needs.
- Shift work and night work may be required depending on site requirements.
