What You’ll Be Doing
Including but not limited to:
Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, sinks, and sanitation areas.
Operate dish machines safely and efficiently, following proper loading and chemical use procedures.
Handle and store all clean items properly to prevent contamination or damage.
Assist cooks and chefs by keeping prep and service areas stocked with clean equipment.
Sweep, mop, and maintain floors to ensure a safe, clean working environment.
Empty trash and recycling bins regularly; clean and sanitize receptacles as needed.
Support kitchen staff with light prep, deliveries, and organization as directed by leadership.
Follow all KCC and local safety regulations for chemical handling, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
Report any maintenance, plumbing, or equipment issues immediately to the Kitchen Supervisor or Sous Chef.
Ensure all cleaning and sanitizing supplies are stocked and stored safely.
Embody KCC’s values of consistency, quality, and hospitality in every task.
Contribute to a culture of teamwork and respect, taking pride in the behind-the-scenes work that enables exceptional member experiences.
Support all outlets and events as needed—fine dining, quick service, and banquet operations—helping ensure seamless execution across the club.
What You Need for this Position
Previous experience in a kitchen or stewarding role preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of sanitation and safety practices (training provided).
Dependable, positive, and team-oriented work ethic.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Able to stand for long periods (8+ hours).
Able to bend, lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in warm, humid, or high-energy kitchen environments.
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion required.
