Steward - The St. Paul Grill

This position performs dishwashing activities with primary responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, storerooms, and equipment; and transporting dishes, china, and equipment between storage and work areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleans debris from dirty dishes, uses proper equipment including a dishwashing machine to wash, sanitize, and dry plates, glassware, flatware, dishes, pots, pans, etc.
  • Uses cleaning chemicals as directed and follows company procedures as directed.
  • Returns all clean kitchen utensils and equipment to proper storage location.
  • Transports supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Performs all duties on position checklist.
  • Segregates and removes trash and garbage, and places in designated containers. Takes out trash and recycling. Cleans and maintains interior and exterior trash area. Sweeps and mops floors.
  • Complies with local, state, and national regulations pertaining to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.
