Store Manager – Beauty & Cosmetics

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Customer Experience Excellence

  • Deliver a premium and immersive beauty experience aligned with brand identity and service philosophy.
  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, visual execution, hygiene, tester standards, and overall operational readiness.
  • Resolve customer concerns effectively to ensure high satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, hygiene standards, and luxury retail operational protocols.

2. Sales Performance, KPIs & Commercial Delivery

  • Drive store KPIs including sales targets, conversion rate, UPT (Units per Transaction), ATV (Average Transaction Value), and customer retention.
  • Monitor product performance, bestsellers, stock availability, and category trends to optimize sales.
  • Execute in-store promotions, activations, GWPs, product launches, and sampling initiatives in coordination with marketing and merchandising teams.
  • Analyze sales reports (daily/weekly) and implement action plans to improve performance.

3. Team Leadership, Training & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Beauty Advisors, Makeup Artists, Skincare Specialists, and Supervisors.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training programs.
  • Ensure team readiness on new product launches, beauty rituals, brand storytelling, and consultation techniques.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with luxury retail standards.

4. Inventory Control, Visual Merchandising & Store Standards

  • Manage inventory including stock levels, replenishment, shrinkage control, and expiry management (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards, planogram compliance, and tester hygiene align with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely stock availability.
  • Maintain accuracy in cash handling, audits, documentation, and system processes.

Qualifications & Skils

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or luxury retail, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of premium beauty products, consultation techniques, and customer experience standards.
  • Proven ability to drive KPIs and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional grooming and presentation aligned with luxury retail environments.
  • Ability to manage fast-paced operations, multiple product launches, and high customer traffic.
